Tamir Ben-Yoseph
General Counsel
Tamir is an experienced legal counsel with over two decades of private and in-house experience in the energy and technology sectors. Tamir has significant experience supporting owners and developers in the development, financing, construction and operation of clean energy projects.
Prior to joining Lightshift as its General Counsel, Tamir provided external legal support to a broad array of clients in the energy industry as an attorney with Clean Energy Counsel where his practice focused primary on construction, major equipment procurement, long term services, technology licensing, and other commercial transactions, with a particular emphasis on battery energy storage projects. Tamir has also served as general counsel and corporate secretary to NASDAQ-traded technology companies and as Senior Counsel for BrightSource Energy responsible for project execution and operations and has supported and represented clients in the electric and gas industries in proceedings before the FERC and on appeal before the D.C. Circuit and the 9th Circuit. Tamir holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BA from Emory University.
