Description of Role:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, the Investment Analyst will support all of Lightshift’s financial activities from corporate accounting to project finance. The ideal candidate has experience working with financing partners in energy infrastructure and project finance.
Responsibilities:
Support finance, accounting, and treasury functions;
Work with finance and analytics teams on project financial modeling;
Conduct fundamental analysis of company and portfolio-level cash flow, including in-depth financial modeling and returns analysis;
Support Head of Corporate Finance in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow and related presentations to the Board;
Support tax equity/debt diligence;
Create and maintain data rooms;
Interface with internal and external parties to manage the timely development and delivery of all documents, reports, and other closing deliverables.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in finance or related degree, CPA/CFA a plus;
1-2 years of experience in finance-related roles; preferably in renewables and project finance;
Expert in Excel; ability to build, manipulate and interpret heavy project finance models;
Direct tax equity/debt experience preferred;
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills;
Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills;
Understanding of GAAP financial accounting;
Task-oriented with high attention to detail;
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
